Wow

How did something like this slip by so underrated? Good job man that was pretty awesome. Really enjoyed the detailed "hand drawn" feel.

strange, unrelatable and ugly

I didn't read the comments and was said to myself, "wait I have a feeling I have seen this somewhere before..."
I like the morphing of the faces and the clouds. Basically the newgrounds logo in the beginning was my favorite part because although the art of this movie is great I find it creepy and flat. Also the story is only a strange, unrelatable, and not very memorable fragment to me. 10 for respect of the work put in to make this and in comparison with other works on newgrounds but Tarboy was a great leap forward from this.

oh warping childrens show songs...

You know when you make a flash using this song you'll always be compared with fredgdperry's you are a pirate... I recommend you set your music to stream in future flashes so it stays in sink with the animation better. Not bad for a first flash You do motion and lip sinking fairly well. I like how the "pirates" use a crane to dig and dynamite to break locks (miraculously the wood is unharmed; that's some strong wood...) I think I'll enjoy your future submissions...

It is a great stylish animation but you need stronger jokes. The flash being based on real events is all good and well but its a little too simple... embellish the story or add more in future flashes and they will be great. Hope to see more.

Engrosing Stupid and Amazing

So the first time I watched this I was really absorbed until I saw the body then when I saw the shadows I was pleading for it not to be what it was. So when I watched it a second time the animation did not draw me in cause I knew the ending was stupid. But somehow I find my self watching this again every once in a while just to appreciate what you've done here so I conclude this deserves a 10 the controversial ending would have been a lot better if anyone besides you was able to make this sort of engrossing build up of anxiety. You never see this genera done well on newgrounds so it feels like such a waste to kill it off like that.

That was pretty amazing crazy scene transitions and word projectiles. If this was a bit smoother and the story was a little more developed, it probably would be one of my favorites.

optimize!!!!

You might want to run this through a 3rd party optimizer program. I decompiled the first part of this flash and optimized the first couple of scenes and I have to say the optimize 100% button endogenous to flash makes your animation look 10X more fantastic its amazing what smoothness can do... not to mention it shrinks the image file sizes by about 90%. I imagine you could get these two parts to under 8mb.

I feel like you should optimize and reconsider finishing this... but its your time.

Now this is how madness should be done! Too bad you didn't decide to finish this... but I guess it would be a pretty hard to do with a pc that can barely open the file and making it smooth would probably be really boring compared to drawing it the first time. ps the motorcycle noises were hilarious. Oh and your lines look like they contain way too much data use the optimize button and or higher smoothing if you can and aren't already.

While the visuals are great, I don't think your voice acting blended very well with tony stark, although the characterization wasn't bad. There needs to be a stronger punchline.
