[C.R.U.D.E. Metal Ep1 pt1]

this is good but shouldn't have been split

This definitely had me interested then threw a to be continued at me. There may have been some unnecessary flash backs too but I personally didn't mind because I was in the right mood and I felt a bit immersed. The movie probably would do better here if you did not split this from the second part.

That's good to hear, normally people complain about my movies being too long and get boring very quickly... So if you were able to sit through the whole thing and it's met with, "You know, could've been longer" Then that's a pretty good response in my opinion =]

oh warping childrens show songs...

You know when you make a flash using this song you'll always be compared with fredgdperry's you are a pirate... I recommend you set your music to stream in future flashes so it stays in sink with the animation better. Not bad for a first flash You do motion and lip sinking fairly well. I like how the "pirates" use a crane to dig and dynamite to break locks (miraculously the wood is unharmed; that's some strong wood...) I think I'll enjoy your future submissions...

It is a great stylish animation but you need stronger jokes. The flash being based on real events is all good and well but its a little too simple... embellish the story or add more in future flashes and they will be great. Hope to see more.

Now this is how madness should be done! Too bad you didn't decide to finish this... but I guess it would be a pretty hard to do with a pc that can barely open the file and making it smooth would probably be really boring compared to drawing it the first time. ps the motorcycle noises were hilarious. Oh and your lines look like they contain way too much data use the optimize button and or higher smoothing if you can and aren't already.

While the visuals are great, I don't think your voice acting blended very well with tony stark, although the characterization wasn't bad. There needs to be a stronger punchline.

You know I used to think I didn't likes sticks... but its really not the sticks that I didn't like. I don't like the laziness sticks inspire because most stick movies follow the same generic formula which lacks storyline, voices, emotion, originality, character design, decent sound effects and more. That sort of animation is akin to a sudden burst of fireworks and receives much of its rating on based on shock and awe.
If you want to appeal to people who don't like sticks try just adding even just 10 seconds of some reason for the fight and personally I feel like adding eyes and mouths in closeups or the entire flash helps a lot in making your characters more interesting.
So was this stick animation successful in the shock and awe? Well it didn't really shock and awe me but I liked the style of the background. As there is no story to go on or think about really I'm going to have to give this a 7.

Word of advice: telling stick haters not to vote or watch your movie will only make stick haters vote 0 without giving your movie a chance.

Keep creating your mountain king's world I'm enjoying it. I think this type of flash is my favorite type I really like those ruffles in the clothes so I'll try a similar thing in one of the animations I'm working on now... thanks for the example. I think the guy who voted 4 has trouble thinking objectively because nothing about this flash is 4 quality.

Thanks for the review, I'm glad that you found it helpful and even more so that you liked it. I also enjoy this kind of animations... I wouldn't know how to classify or describe it though, but I don't see enough of it on newgrounds. I do realize though that my taste isn't exactly popular, so I do understand.

I used a very simple trick to facilitate doing the ruffles, it's not much but it makes it a bit easier, if you think it could help you let me know.
