fridge wedgie

HAHA fridge wedgie!!! I love how everything in your animations is like anticipation zip rubbery-recoil, very distinct. I also cringed a little at the old man's attire so good job.

SpamClamberton responds:

That ain't no wedgie. That's his back-skin.

you don't seem to understand modern biology

According to modern chemists it physically impossible to have a 12 helix DNA strand because there are not enough sterically feasible molecular interactions to keep it stable. To get 12 strands you would have to have extra stuff holding it together. Triple stranded DNA has been around since at least the 1960s in test tubes but in living things it causes all sorts of problems. That boy you site with a tiny piece of DNA making a 3rd strand on one of his chromosomes. Has all sorts of health problems; life cannot survive very much triple helix DNA strands without creating hundreds of molecules to deal with a third strand.
You seem to be confusing a few things about DNA:
Each chromosome is a strand of double helical DNA 46 chromosomes means humans have 92 strands of DNA per healthy cell right now.
Additional strands in a helix do not provide extra information because they have to structurally reflections of each other in order to form a helix.
Crystalline DNA would be completely useless because DNA must be flexible to function and crystals are not flexible.
Mutations in DNA are effecting the code not the the basic form.
Triple helixes are allowed under the basic structure of DNA in all living things but helices of higher number are thought to not exist.
The "junk" DNA currently has functions in living things and are part of the same strand "activating junk DNA will not add additional helices.
Oh something cool... Did you know DNA can pass electric current down its center like a wire? Also Science does not shun consciousness or intuition there are many that study it but there are limits for studying humans. Scientists don't have any reproduceable findings verifying mass consciousness. Scientists would love to provide evidence of mass consciousness, because it would be such a major break-through however nobody has anything reproducible and supporting, not even those you cite.

RiverJordan responds:

Ohhh! Alright well things just clicked then :P I'm still learning about it myself, that makes alot more sense. Thank you! "The code and not the basic form." I'll probably address that at some point, minor problem with my description :P

Chromosomes are another huge topic i didn't even touch today, but were actually moving from 44 and 2 chromosomes to 46 and 2, which is another major aspect of this shift in what's happening. Its crazy awesome stuff

fun it is

I stared at this for a little bit as it played and the non-word VEN danced on the screen. Then suddenly, when whitey ducked around the table, I realized this is pretty well done. Although, I find silent film subtitles appalling (Id prefer a dancing text bubble or voices) this is still fun and well put together.

crazytree responds:

Yea.. You have a point, VEN is just too out of place. Thats SUPPOSED to be his name but... that's still a bad place for a name. It takes simple peer review for the most obvious mistake to be caught lol

genious

I don't like to review things that are not new but that ending was completely genius. Even better when you've watched the morphemon episodes first.

PiGPEN responds:

This short was originally intended as a sidestory to ep Ep2.....kinda weird you have to go 6 years back to get an offhand joke.

cant wait

There are only three people on newgrounds I would like to steal animation talent from. This teaser defines you as one of them.

DonkeysBazooka responds:

i bet i can name the other two

I was resisting scoring it, but I want to comment

Well I'm not opposed to having more singers on newgrounds but there really isn't a video attached to this. So it really doesn't belong in the Flash Portal. However the AP is a harsh and often lonely place right now. I guarantee complaints about the sound quality there. Your singing is good for the most part and it sounds pretty. There are however several unpolished parts. Trouble spots appear at the end of lines especially if there is a quick line afterwords. Also problems when you suddenly raised your voice higher in the highest part. I feel like you weren't relaxed enough in the beginning of the song. I'm sure you could become very professional sounding if you kept at it.
If I scored on sound alone it would higher than a 5.

AOsinger responds:

thank you for being honest, I will work on that... and next time I submit one of these i will have my little brother make a flash movie for it... i'm no good at that flash stuff :( ... but again... thanks for being honest. I really appreciate it.

ugg that could have been better

Critism:
You managed to bore me on one of my favorite subjects... Needs more evidence and arguments instead of simply stating everything as fact. Your vague citations don't help either. Please more logic so I don't fall asleep waiting for something new to think about. Also I think you wave around dimensions and many other long debated concepts far too lightly. These concepts all need more flashes supporting them. I suppose you'll be getting to that someday...

My experience:
I'm a natural lucid dreamer and my experience tells me your connection of it to astral projection is not quite right. People think there is a connection is because those who have few lucid dreams confuse their novel overwhelming experience for something more than it is. The hippocampus and a few other parts of the brain deal with your body map and world map. When those areas enter a certain state you will get the feeling that you have left your body and your brain has the mechanisms to facilitate generating a world to match your believed actions... I've even experienced OBE but in my experiences there was never a chord attaching me to my body and the information I got from traveling away from your my body was mostly inaccurate and the parts that were accurate I could have guessed without the experience. OBE and lucid dreaming in my experience have always been very separate.

I do want to applaud you for noting that lucid dreamers perceive the future past and present at the same time- that is totally the state of an experienced lucid dreamers mind when they are lucid dreaming. But unfortunately it has never proven useful to me outside of my dream. I will admit that I have acted based on it before and doing so felt fulfilling, yet the info is still mostly inaccurate.

For the record, I rarely agree with what your saying but I like to think so I have watched them all so far and will continue to watch these.

RiverJordan responds:

The reason you don't see a cord while lucid dreaming is because your in a frequency where you are already creating your reality. If you go from a waking state to out of body state, astral projection, you will see that cord. You basically make it invisible, or not a part of your reality, when your in a lucid dream, because it's not there in the dream itself.

lacking peanut-butter in this pbj sandwich

The only thing I don't like about this is the length, very short. The arduous journey could have been played out much longer too bad you ran out of time. However it is a funny idea, well animated and has decent sound and voices. I don't suppose you could have submitted this on a Tuesday?

PapaLongLegs responds:

Thanks, yeah that would have been more fitting but alas, I missed a trick.

LOL its pronounced "ah-mig-duh-lah" not...

I'd like you to know that you are pronouncing amygdala wrong. Also work on your flow... it felt like a poorly read laundry list.

Flaxington responds:

I had a due date for it and at one point i found out that my sound clips were mostly crap. I ha to re-record them quickly so i could keep working so it would be done in time. I also didn't know the proper pronunciation soooo thanks I guess :P

smells like fudge

LOL the people who first tried to relate spacial patterns with random bits of folk lore and history must have been incredibly, incredibly bored. Shouldn't you fix your zona pelucila mistake in your audio? You could say it is the cell membrane which is a lipid bilayer or something. mmm misdirection,

RiverJordan responds:

As we learned in lesson 6, the ancient civilizations actually knew a fuckton about the universe, they weren't pulling shit of their ass haha
