[The Girl From The Park]

Lots of first flashes appearing today and this is one of the more interesting ones. Tho I must say your backgrounds are too good for your character detail it is still far better than standard stick figure animation so yay for that.And oo look a plot I like that. Kinda makes me sad I was just talking to a girl who more or less thinks like this... So good first flash the type I can relate to life and all that.

The good: This animation has amazing backgrounds and nice voice acting.

The could be better: The camera angles and character animation lack the energy and vividness of the background. The dance was supposed to be one that makes you want to dance but all you see is a line of puppies doing the same thing over and over, a couple of barely moving characters and 3 drummers. Give us something to look at have the dancing characters dart in and out of the screen with colorful clothing and flags with cornucopias of fruit on their heads. Have the camera zoom in on a dancer who ducks out to reveal another dancer doing something funny. Have characters jump in the air do cartwheels and similar things. Also you may want to add leaves or something in the foreground for the camera to go through to keep watchers interest. (Livelier color and moment and interaction with the camera helps create the illusion of more storyline.)

Finally, I'm curious if you use an action-script flash camera? Thanks for the animation!

almost got dizzy

I liked how the music starts then gets distorted just like the animation. These sort of things usually give me a headache in black and white but color makes it much better. Good job.I don't usually like this sort of flash.

I think you did a great job with the camera to make the flash energetic and simple. The animation was pretty good not the best ever but good enough that I could get into the story. The flash left me wanting to see pt2 and the timing of events seemed just right.I also think the music you ended with was a very good choice. I watched this on low volume so I the volume change at the end did not bother me at all rather seemed just right. However, I would suggest balancing out the sound and comparing it to other newgrounds flashes to make sure the sound level is perfect.

For me anything that shows this much effort and is One Piece related is an instant 10. I hope to see more. You really did mimic the intro well. I do prefer the Japanese version of the song tho.

Good. Story is the main thing that will make this series great and so far your doing well on that. Some people may nitpick at animation or sound quality but yours seems okay to me. Many people who focus on making super detailed flashes don't create good flash series. Takes too long to make.

You had some clever lines and scenes. However, I would like to see those unnatural pauses between some of the lines removed. Also your background noises were almost unnoticeable make those crickets and campfires louder or maybe even add music. The last thing I would have liked is a narrated prologue. My eyes do not want to read all those bright colored paragraphs on their own.

Waiting on Episode 2 now.

Awesome Alternate Reality Icaris Story!

I wonder if its negative gravitaxis by a drug or those shoes?
When I watched this flash I kept trying to imagine how the trip started for this guy. I would not have guessed it started with him being caught up in a raid. I love rich background world in this flash. I thought it was hilarious how that the girl patrolling the restricted CCC area jumps out and sits on him. He just drugs her and smiles as shes reporting back and continues up. What an epic way to die spreading color through the Icarus drug.

This is the one of two flashes on newgrounds I wish I could give an 11 to.

I think seeing it forward would ruin the mystique but I would advise anyone who wants to see it to do a video search, its out there somewhere no doubt.

Short bad pun otherwise Excellent

Great stuff! The pun was so cheesy. As I'm sure you know from your other flashes its very short length tends to lower the score. You could easily get a 10 if you add length. On that note I call "thats what she said" on myself...

Music was great. Sawing the nodding cow was a little odd in my opinion. Most of the movie flowed nicely.
